Moving Through Life
So many of us move through life just going from one day to the next, without even knowing why we are doing what we do. We know we have to go to work. We know we should save for retirement, we know we should save for college for our kids. But we don't ever seem to get around to it. We know that we shouldn't put that new blouse on the credit card or borrow the money to buy that boat, but we do it anyway. We know it would be wise to wait to buy the bigger house or a new car. But we don't want to wait. We want it now and we do it now because in that particular moment it makes us feel good. Rather than thinking through a financial decision, we make our decision based upon what it will do for us today, right now!
